I have an account with bloglines. I think that it could be overwhelming if you have too many subscriptions. But it can also be helpful. It could save you a lot of time surfing the web for topics that interest you. Here you have everything at one location.
The overwhelming is pretty common. But I use Google Reader and while I'm not sure what Bloglines offers, GR offers some great tracking tools to help you decide what feeds are working and which ones aren't. I tend to subscribe to anything that strikes my fancy, but later, go back and pay attention to what I'm really reading and what's really helpful. And even though I don't come close to reading all my feeds each day, I enjoy reading them, when I do carve out some time or just 'marking all as read' when it gets too big. : )
