Thing 20 and 21

I already have an account with zoho writer. What a great idea. Now I can work on a document at work and if I need to finish it at home It is there. No more worrying about a flash drive. I am wondering if patrons can use this while they are on the public computers. I guess it would be safe because it is password protected. I don't know if the computer would allow it or not. I'll have to check it out.

I like the funbrain site. That would be a good link to add to the children's computers. They have limited access to the internet for Tumble Books. I am wondering if this or a similar site could be added. Hmmm...

Wahoo! I'm done! interesting journey. I learned a lot along the way. I think that it is good to be aware of what is out there. You just never know when it might come in handy. Thanks for all your hard work in putting this together. See Ya!

Thing 19

I am not able to make a book trailer. My work computer is hooked up to a countywide system. Windows Movie maker was disabled by the system. So I cannot access it. I did look at many of the trailers on the various websites. I also talked to one of our interns who talked me through the steps of how I could make a trailer on my own if I needed to. I have a scanner now and I have used windows movie maker at home. So, I feel pretty confident that I could make one if need be. I hope that is satisfactory.

webinar

I participated in a webinar for Parent Place. It was really cool to be able to talk to people across the country. We also had assignments to complete. It was great to be able to do them at our own pace, when we had the time.

podcast

I found a podcast about parenting your teens. Since I have 2, I found that interesting. it was easy to subscribe and add it to my google reader.

Gruel and Unusual Punishment (Pennsylvania Dutch Mystery, #10)Gruel and Unusual Punishment by Tamar Myers

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I like reading cozies. They are fun light mysteries. I enjoy the main character. Magdelina is spunky and smart. She can be a little scatter- brained at times but funny.
